As passionate about politics as she is with superb song craftsmanship, singer-songwriter Tristen, has been performing her songs in the Chicagoland area for 8 years. Writing about love, loss, war, and all things American, this young author captivates audiences with her savvy lyrics and intense melodies.

Playing both guitar and piano at her live shows, Tristen has already performed at Chicago area venues including:
Abbey Pub (with The Proclaimers)
Metro
(WXRT's 30 Bands in 60 Minutes)
Star Plaza Theatre
(with The Guess Who)
Double Door (with Alana Davis)
House of Blues (with Edwin McCain)

Tristen, a recent highest honors graduate of DePaul University, released her third independently produced CD, Among the Crowd in April of 2004. Produced by Tristen and her guitarist, Charlie Gaspadarek, this CD features ten of Tristen's original compositions. Tristen plays piano on the record with guitarists, Charlie Gaspadarek and Kurt Miller. The rhythm section includes drummer Kyle Woodring (Deanna Carter, John Mellancamp, Dennis DeYoung), and bassists Donn DeSanto and Adam Johnson. The record was engineered and mixed by Larry Millas (Billy Idol, David Bowie, Bruce Hornsby) at The Cave Studios in LaPorte, IN. This past spring, the song “Wasting Time” was selected for the fourth season DVD release of Felicity, a WB television series.

Tristen continues to write and record. She plans a fourth release by the end of 2006. This release will include songs written and co-produced by Chicago songwriting heavyweight Carey Ott. Her strikingly powerful voice and songwriting continues to captivate audiences of all ages and genres.
